This will probably be our best chance at beating Florida in shit, probably 10 years. We'll have to play well though, the Gators still have a ton of talent.
Vols' Bates to have surgery, seek redshirt

Dillon Bates' promising freshman season at the University of Tennessee is coming to a premature end due to a shoulder injury.
Bates, a four-star, top-50 national prospect and second-ranked player by Rivals.com at outside linebacker in the 2014 class, had tried to play through a shoulder injury first suffered in the Vols' Sept. 6 game against Arkansas State.
And Bates did continue to play for three more weeks and two more games, road setbacks at Oklahoma and last weekend at Georgia, before it was finally determined the surgery would need to take the place of ongoing rehab for the torn labrum in his right shoulder.
Vols' game against Chattanooga set for 4 p.m. kickoff

The SEC announced Monday that Tennessee's home game Oct. 11 against Chattanooga is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. Eastern time and will be televised on SEC Network.
The Vols (2-2) and Mocs (2-2) will be playing for the first time since 1969. Tennessee has a 37-2-2 all-time record against Chattanooga, a Football Championship Subdivision school.
Gators open as a 1 point favorite.
The transformation of Justin Worley is the key difference. A thumb injury limited his progress last season, ending the year with 196 pass attempts, completing 55.6 percent for 1,239 yards, 10 touchdowns, eight interceptions and a 117.4 passer rating.
Through the first four games this season, Worley has 155 attempts, completing 60 percent for 985 yards, nine touchdowns, three interceptions and a 128.7 passer rating. He’s throwing the ball better to all fields this fall.
“It all starts offensively (with) Justin Worley,” Will Muschamp said. “I think (he’s) playing very well.”
Worley’s emergence has allowed a talented group of receivers to show it on the field. Marquez North leads the group with 188 yards, and five other receivers are between 135 and 106 yards on the season. Von Pearson, who has been slowed by an ankle injury, would be among that group but currently sits at 98 yards.
The size makes this a tough matchup for the Florida secondary. Jason Croom and North are 6-4, playing physical when the ball is in the air. Muschamp estimated that Tennessee takes 8-10 deep shots down the field that the Gators will have to be prepared for on Saturday at noon. Pig Howard can play the slot or outside, giving them speed at any position.
The depth at the position is an important part of the Tennessee passing game.
“They have all made plays in the passing game so certainly I think the strength of their team is Justin (Worley) and their receiving corps,” Muschamp said.
Dude that checkerboard is pretty sweet. How’s you get all them folks to sit like that en sech?
