So I'm going to call it right now, the 2014 Rose Bowl will be matchup between Michigan and Stanford. Which will be appropriate given that this will be the 100th edition of the game, and the first one was a matchup between these two schools.

Though what would be even better, since the BCS Title game will be in the Rose Bowl, that that game be a matchup between those two schools. Admittedly that's a long shot, but if Michigan and Stanford go undefeated (a realistic possibility) and there is no undefeated SEC teams, it could happen.

I'm saying no because Michigan will lose 4 games this year.

Which four? There isn't a single game on their schedule that Michigan can't win, most they will be favorites in. So where do you see them stumbling four times?

Yeah, I see Michigan third in their division right now. Next year and moving forward they will be a serious contender for national titles.

I'll grant you the Legends division is a closer race than the Leaders, but there is no clear cut leader in the Legends (ugh, I can't wait until they change the division names next year). The top four contenders are clearly Michigan, Nebraska, MSU and Northwestern. Northwestern has the lowest shot because, well they are still Northwestern. While their defense is going to be good, MSU stills need to figure out their offense. And Michigan gets the benefit of playing Nebraska at home. So of the two favorites (Michigan and Nebraska) I like Michigan's chances. Though I will admit my opinion is biased.

Notre Dame, Ohio state, Nebraska, and possibly Michigan state or Iowa.

I will agree that those are potential loses (though Iowa is a bit of a stretch, I'm more worried about Penn St. or Northwestern), but I doubt they will lose all four. Like I said, every game is very winnable.

And even then, depending how things shake out Michigan could lose three (if not all four) of those and still make it to the Big Ten title game. Notre Dame is non conference, so that has no effect and Ohio St. is in the Leaders division, so that has minimal. And I don't like the chances of either school beating the other two times in a row (though I think Michigan has the better chance given that The Game is in the Big House this year).

Michigan could win them all, could lose 3. OSU will be tough.

I think it'd be great to see this matchup because that means OSU is in the NCG. :suds:

I'd love to see it, but if (and that is a big if) Stanford goes undefeated I have to figure they are in the NCG.

Lol. At the very least scUM will lose to Ohio State and probably Nebraska. I predict 3 losses to scUM.:suds:

Michigan will need to be ALOT better than last year for that to happen. Was not impressed.

So the OP is saying that the NC game will be Ohio State and Oregon then.

That may have been the stupidest blurb I have ever read. I'm willing to make an avy bet that you two will have at least a combined five losses heading into the bowls. If its so realistic to go undefeated, i'm sure you will accept.

As an Alabama fan, that checks with chart. Admittedly that was the worse preformance of the 2012 campaign. But the other 4 loses were close and could have very easily been wins, and that's with them all being on the road to highly ranked teams.

Woe to the team that underestimates what Brady Hoke is building at Michigan.

Possiblity =/= probablity. Like I said, that's a long shot, but both Michigan and Stanford are among the favorites to win their respective conferences, and if the cards fall just right either (or both) could go undefeated. Mind you I am not saying they will, nor would I bet anything on that.
