Positions that still need to be addressed:

WR, OLB/ILB, RB.... all depth choices of course, so low risk at this point.

I saw we doubled up on CB...good play with Street gone...kind of puts us in project mode again this late with a tall WR, but as you say...low risk at this point.

Yep... I dabbled with the thought of Norwood (WR Alabama 6'2" 198) but decided against it. Main reason he is 3" shorter, and 12 lbs lighter than Moye.

Okay...maybe we're supposed to get Ebron & Janis next month...lol.

Agree with the last 3 pick game plan...for some reason I think Gilbert might not be retained if he struggles, especially with Pouncey's contract coming due as well...I'll sniff around for OTs to see if anything is out there.

BPA for OLB's:
1. Jordan Tripp... Montana 6'3" 234 lbs
2. Morgan Breslin... Southern California 6'1" 250 lbs
3. *Ronald Powell... Florida 6'3" 237 lbs

5. Devon Kennard... Southern California 6'3" 250 lbs
6. Tyler Starr... South Dakota 6'4" 250 lbs

9. Howard Jones... Shepherd 6'3" 235 lbs
10. Jonathan Newsome... Ball St 6'3" 247 lbs

All of these, plus 5-6 more that are higher on most big boards than "you-know-who"... Just a thought before we jump on him. This late in the draft most are pretty much project types. But a few I would consider better options. Thoughts?

What? Where?

I just looked through and didn't see our target fall? There was a guy that had the same first name, but not last.

Looks like we will be up pretty soon. I am heading out for some fishing today, so probably won't be around for the pick. If anyone wants to take it then go ahead, if not I will have a list of O-lineman submitted to Nos.

At this point I think we should take an OT with our 2nd pick in the 6th… and then take our guy in the 7th.

Congrats on the fishing...sounds fun...I'm in the office today...agree on the OT...heading out for lunch here in a few minutes. I'm okay with submitting to Nos in case I'm not back by pick time...just a depth guy anyway at this point I'm thinking.

We got the mammoth OT Seantrel Henderson out of Miami (Fla.). Definitely a good project/depth type player. Could pan out well under the right coaching. Here is the cbs writeup:

STRENGTHS: A similarly jaw-dropping combination of size and power as San Diego Chargers 2013 first round pick D.J. Fluker, Henderson relies on his length and underrated lateral quickness to protect the edge against speed rushers. Typically, his long arms keep pass-rushers at bay and he plays with good patience, keeping his knees bent and his butt low to stop bull-rushers in their tracks.
Henderson is even more impressive in the running game, where he can surprise defenders with his ability to reach them and his strength to latch on and control is impressive.

WEAKNESSES: Like Fluker, Henderson is so large that he struggles, at times, with leverage. He comes off the snap a bit high and when he lunges at defenders, he can get top-heavy and nearly fall flat on his face. Struggled to stay on the field at Miami due to a concerning combination of injuries and off-field issues.

Compares To: D.J. Fluker, San Diego Chargers.

Pretty good draft! Got a couple of the same guys from the last mock (Ebron & Janis). Really bummed that we didn't get a chance on Evans, Gilbert, Dennard, and Lewan. Would have liked to see someone else rather than getting the same guy from the 1st mock. But oh well, at least Ebron is a playmaker. Can't argue with that! Lots of great talent all across the board. Glad we double dipped at CB! James White will be a great change of pace type RB… And he will definitely fill the KR void.
