The challenge this year is a joke. The ACC keeps adding basketball powerhouses while the Big Ten gets Rutgers and Maryland… The ACC is going to run away with this thing. Besides for the core basketball schools in the B1G and a few games where both teams suck like a Minnesota or Northwestern win it's gonna be tough to win 8 games.

Wisconsin vs. Duke. I cannot wait to be at this game!

Minnesota has the same record in the challenge as Wisconsin does. Minnesota isn't the reason the B1G has historically struggled in the challenge. If you're looking for someone to blame, blame Iowa, Penn State or Michigan.

I find it difficult seeing Duke beating UW at Wisconsin with a the same returning starting 5 that was a clutch bucket away from going into the Final Four while Duke lost some talent and lost to a no name team in the tournament.

Don't understand No.7 Virginia vs what's supposed to be a horrible Maryland team, but everything else looks good.

Several intriguing matchups.:suds:

Wisconsin doesn't return all 5 starters and they were in the final four. No doubt Duke will be more talented than Wisconsin in terms of NBA potential, it's just a matter if they have time to build chemistry together and everybody is able to define their roles. Should be the best non conference game of the entire year IMO.

There are some very good matches there.

With so many players leaving the last few years, SU will see a couple of new faces on the court and the players returning, most didn't see many minutes. I don't think SU will be strong especially early on, but the kids are stepping in have some hops and game so it will be fun.

The SU @ Michigan game is a good one for an early season game.

Should be a good test early. We also have Arizona and SMU which should prepare us nicely for for conference games.

We didn't have a problem traveling east and smacking a young but talented Wake Forest, and that was when we sucked.

Not even a little worried about FSU.

True, but the one G that did leave has a backup far more superior in every aspect of the game. Badgers have 3 players with NBA potential, how many does Duke have? Lastly, Wisconsin is the best veteran team in the NCAA today and chemistry as high as possible with this team. I agree that it's the best non con game of the year.

you're such a troll. you know literally nothing about college basketball, not even your "own" team and it's results from a year ago.

please go to the college football forum and never come back, grazie

I would have liked to see the Gophers get a tougher opponent to start the season, though glad we aren't facing Duke.
