Nebraska at Florida State

Rutgers at Clemson

No. 21 Syracuse at No. 24 Michigan

Ohio State at No. 8 Louisville

Pittsburgh at Indiana

NC State at Purdue

Illinois at Miami (Fla.)

Minnesota at Wake Forest

No. 2 Duke at No. 4 Wisconsin

No. 18 Michigan State at Notre Dame

No. 25 Iowa at No. 6 North Carolina

No. 7 Virginia at Maryland

Georgia Tech at Northwestern

Virginia Tech at Penn State

Don't understand No.7 Virginia vs what's supposed to be a horrible Maryland team, but everything else looks good.

I think the ACC will take it next year. By my count looks like it should be 8-6. There are a lot of toss up games. And MD will be much better this year. Seth Allen will be there from the start of the year. They will be a bubble team I'd guess.

I hadn't heard that, but it looks as though he might along with Mitchell. 5 transfers in one off season would have to be a record. They do have 2 McDonald's all-americans coming in, but that may not be enough to turn that program around. They would basically have 5 players, unless a couple of the unheralded freshman step up.

Sucks that the two new schools are limping into the B1G, especially when you consider the last two teams to join were Penn St. and Nebraska. Just ain't right.

Guard Seth Allen plans to transfer from the Terps

Lol at Maryland. Turgeon might be receiving his release papers soon too!

At this rate, is Maryland even going to be able to field a team?

There are some very good matches there.

With so many players leaving the last few years, SU will see a couple of new faces on the court and the players returning, most didn't see many minutes. I don't think SU will be strong especially early on, but the kids are stepping in have some hops and game so it will be fun.

The SU @ Michigan game is a good one for an early season game.

Yeah PSU has never managed to get it going in basketball except for a decent run in 2001. Rutgers will never be good, but I do think MD has potential to be a consistent tournament team. Nebraska has been a very pleasant surprise in basketball. Should be a top 25 team the next 2 years if Pettaway stays both years. They were very young this past season.

This game will be very interesting. Both have lost a lot from last year's team. I think Michigan has the better returning talent, but I think Syracuse has the better incoming talent. Both teams will be young. A win in this game will go a long way in building confidence for the rest of the year.

Believe it or not, there is actually some intense rivalry between those two schools. I don't think Maryland has played anyone more often than Virginia. They'll be hurting in the B1G in that respect. I suspect ESPN just wanted to promote whatever controversy in the new conference lineups.

I don't know if I am in the minority in this or not but I was hoping to see a UVA-Mich St rematch.

I'd like to have seen that too.
Doesn't happen very often...last time for MSU was playing UNC in Chapel Hill for the Challenge (and losing) nine months after getting stomped by them in the 2009 NCG.

otoh...it's always a treat seeing Sparty tear Domers new ones...so there's that.

I like the road game @ Florida St draw.

FSU was a tourney bubble team and lost (67-64) to Minnesota in an NIT semi-final.

I'm going to try to go the UW-Duke game at the Kohl, won't be an easy to ticket. Virginia-Maryland is a nostalgic match up, it will be interesting. I don't know which conference will take it this year, but there will be some really good games.

The challenge this year is a joke. The ACC keeps adding basketball powerhouses while the Big Ten gets Rutgers and Maryland… The ACC is going to run away with this thing. Besides for the core basketball schools in the B1G and a few games where both teams suck like a Minnesota or Northwestern win it's gonna be tough to win 8 games.

Wisconsin vs. Duke. I cannot wait to be at this game!
