Matt Donovan will likely be in the AHL. What I don't understand is how Marchand didn't get a penalty for what he did.

I don't get what the refs were looking at. Just because Marchand is shorter doesn't mean he should be allowed to hit an opposing player in the back of the head.

Good to see Johnny got his hands/arms around in time to cushion the fall, it easily could have been his face taking the brunt of contact with the ice.

They're probably in decision making mode more than anything. If you have tough roster decisions to make you want to make sure you get a good look at those guys rather than the guys that you're already sure about.

On a related note, took JT with my 5th overall pick and am very pleased. Had both him and Okposo last year and they didn't disappoint until poor Johnny got Olympicked.

Strome had a solid game with Kulimen and Grabbo. That could be a VERY good second line.
