2014-15 NBA Playoffs First Round Winners

Self Explanatory. Will continue this as the playoffs progress. Will compile votes to determine a winner.

Started late, meant to start early enough that no games would have been played before closing, but obviously one day would be too short to get voters. So, I'm keeping this open until Game 2 of certain series.

Made this poll one that people can change their votes, because it would be unfair to those who vote early not to be able to change votes if an underdog pulls off one or two wins and a late voter votes with that in mind. Didn't want to incentivize waiting to vote.

I can't list all the possibilities (15 result limit) and I also didn't want to deal with those who vote for both outcomes (will do next round.). I chose to put upsets up there instead of favorites because I can assume a regular voter who didn't pick one of the options would have voted for the favorite, I can't assume the opposite. If that's wrong, vote your upset pick. Regular voters will be assumed to have picked the opposite results.

Same weight for favorites or underdogs, no incentive to pick upsets. Just to vote correctly.

If you believe there will be no upsets and want to participate, say so in the thread.

Clippers have a better record and higher seed, but most are leaning Spurs.

Went with Mavs over Rockets and Wizards over Raptors as most likely to happen.

Force of habit, I guess, but you are right. Still, I do think most will see the Clippers as an underdog.

Ultimately, it doesn't really matter for this round who I put as upsets or not, because to be entered into the contest, one would have to vote, and they can choose LA. Next round, though, I will assume a few things of past voters who don't re-vote.

It'll be tricky as some series end and others are extended. I'll figure something out.
