Just like it's counter part thread of most disappointing, who is your top 5 most surprising teams of 2013 so far.

1. Missouri - did NOT see this coming
2. Texas Tech - an awesome story, young HC who started a walk on freshman QB
3. Auburn
4. Miami
5. Baylor - they are scoring at a ridiculous amount.

Missouri no doubt.

I have to give a little guy a shout out. UCF has been pretty damned good this yr too. Didn't know a thing about them before the year began.

Why is it that it's that big of a surprise that Mizzou is 7-0? I would of had them at 6-1 losing to UGA and winning against FLA.

Gotta give a shout out to Ball St sitting at 7-1 right now. They've played absolutely no one, but still nice to see them doing well.

Given their troubles last year and the hype around Florida, etc. I don't think many saw Mizzou even at 6-1.

You mean besides the fact they went 5-7 last year, were not ranked in the top 25, and beat two teams on their schedule that were pre-season ranked in the top 10?

I'm sorry, I haven't heard one person that had them at 7-0 or even 6-1 at this point in the season.

Florida had some many Questions that needed to be answered they were in the same boat as LSU. they both shouldn't have been ranked as high as they were.

Mizzou was hurt last year and they had the perfect setup to come into these big games with a winning record and having Fla at home. I'm not saying everyone is a dumbass but you could see Mizzou being who they are today.

Missouri had a lot of injuries happen in the preseason last year. I think they lost like half their Oline starters and qb for a large portion, if not all, of the season.

I had them winning 9 to 10 games.

GA, thought they would be a title contender

UGA wins the off-season national championship nearly every season with their stable of stars who should have all the necessary horsepower to go the distance.

Then the season starts.
