No problem with that. In my lifetime:

1. Braves have won 1 WS.
2. Falcons have never won a Superbowl and have only played in one in which they got killed.
3. Hawks have never been past the second round of the playoffs. Atlanta Spirit needs to sell the team or move it so we can get another team that might have an owner who wants to win a title.
4. Flames got pitiful. Glad they're gone.

Even GT has done better than all of the Atlanta pro teams. GT has won a title and made the finals one year in BB.

When you can't do better than GT you pretty much suck.

I agree with us not taking it. We don't even need Matt Garza or Joe Nathan.

However, the Hawks' future is looking up with the new head coach and GM.

The Atlanta Spirit (Hawks' owners) again showed that they do not want to win a title when they let Dwight Howard get away. He wanted to play here and he wanted Josh Smith to stay. Hawks told Smith to hit the trail and didn't even offer Howard enough money to get his attention.

Same old Hawks. Doubt we'll make the second round this year, either.
