The good

Tommy Armstrong is having his best season ever. His throws are pretty good. He is even throwing passes out of bounds instead of trying to squeeze one between three defenders. His running ability has always been spectacular.

The receivers are running sweeps, blocking, and catching passes. No fumbles.

The offensive line did not give up a sack.

Nebraska wore out the Northwestern defense. The 4th quarter, Nebraska held the ball for 10 minutes in the 4th quarter.

To start the season, I said the D Backs were the strength of the defense, and they are. Nebraska can plug and play about eight to ten different ones and not lose anything.

Nebraska held the Wildcats to zero points in the fourth quarter. Giving Nebraska a 51 point differential in the 4th quarter for the season.

The special teams play of Jordan Ober(long snapper), Zack Darlington(holder), and Drew Brown(kicker) is just about an automatic field goal or an automatic XP. If it comes to a kicking game, Nebraska will win.

Danny Langsdorf is a very good offensive coordinator. Offensively, Nebraska is a juggernaut. I loved the Danny Langsdorf hire.

The bad

Dylan Utter cannot snap the ball nine feet over the QBs head.
Dylan Utter then corrected that by snapping it off of his butt crack, which then deflected into the ground.
Dylan Utter has got to improve. This is Nebraska. Dave Rimington country. Maybe put in Michael Decker for a few snaps.

The O line needs to push. They couldn't push Northwestern out of the way. Wait until Wisconsin or Ohio State, could be ugly.

QB containment. Thorson burned Nebraska in 2015, and he burned Nebraska again in 2016. Northwestern should have let him run instead of trying to make him pass. But Northwestern is trying to make a pro-style QB, which cost Northwestern. Mark Banker needs to figure out how to stop a running QB.

Caleb Lightbourn(Punter) needs to be unleashed. Let him punt the ball as far as he can. I think the Special teams coach is trying to get him to punt the ball high so there can be coverage, but then his punts are short, and field position is given up.

Most teams, the linebackers lead a team in tackles. At Nebraska, Nate Gerry, the safety leads the team in tackles. Not good when a D Back is leading the team in tackles. Again. Nebraska needs a linebacker to step up the game.

Mark Banker is an average defensive coordinator.

No mention
Running backs. They were a factor in this game, but a negative factor.

Really? None of those girls are that good looking.

Who cares how hot the chicks are.

Can they cook? Are they good conversationalists? Can they do basic matheamatics?

Most important, will they do all the work so I can post on the football message boards?
