I'm not sure you can do better than getting my No. 2 defensive tackle in the draft, and my No. 12 overall player, in Malcom Brown at No. 32. Yeah, he's got room to grow, but I said on the air I thought this was the best value selection in Round 1. When you hit a need with that kind of value, you have to be feeling pretty good.

Best possible pick. Similar raw skills to Vince Wilfork. He is a great athlete and is huge. A counter to the Jets top pick of the USC guy Leonard Williams.

When the Broncos traded up I just kept saying to myself "please be Shane Ray or Malcom Brown." After we picked Shane Ray and I cheered for joy all I kept saying to myself was "please somebody draft Malcom Brown before he falls right into the laps of the Patriots." All that to say this was a great pick in my opinion. I had the guy as 20th on my board as he brings both the ability to stop the run but also a bit of a pass rush. He isn't quite Wilfork against the run but he is the guy you can leave in for all 3 downs.
