The whistle here has been weird at both ends. In one possession, they’re letting them play physical playoff basketball and then next time down it’s touch fouls with not a lot. Hard for the players to get a feel for how the game will be called.

I like physical play in the playoffs and letting the players decide. But I will settle for the other end with the whistle. The demand though is that they pick a fucking lane. If they don’t, they make it about them.

I called out Vaughn before the game. He had some good things and he made a solid bet the Sixers wouldn’t be 50% from 3 again. Jo has to stop trying to be Jokic and go get 40. That’s what they’re being given if they take it.

For me, what’s on display right now is the Sixers during the Process. They can’t ride a wave unless that wave is going in the wrong direction against them. If they’re different, they make this game different in the 2nd half. Doc needs to go into his Rolodex and dial some shit up.

Every game is its own chapter in the story of the series. Which is why we don't get all worked up over game 1.

Sixers picked a hell of a time to play their worst 1st half of the season (season low 44 pts). All of the pieces that were great on Saturday took a step back. Maxey got off a little better than he did on Saturday but that’s it. But only down 5. They’ve played themselves into shitty situations all season because it’s who they are. Frustrating as hell. What has made them different is their ability to pull it out of their ass late. Doc needs to figure something out.
