Trap series I expected this to be for the Pacers w/ no Giannis.

There are no "trap series", only "trap games".

It's only been 1 game, so we don't know yet if it was a trap game or if it's because the Pacers aren't really built for the playoffs.

Also calling it a trap series when that franchise gone over 10 years without winning a series is a silly statement. Also calling it a trap series when you are a 6th seed is also silly

Shit, I didn't even factor in the Pacers being a 6th seed. That makes it even worse.

If you're the 6th said and you're playing a 3 seed missing their best player, that's not a "trap" anything.

That's an opportunity to win a series you're otherwise not likely to win.

Because I kind of made it up... The concept is quite simple: They were happy and fortunate to avoid the play-in and took Milwaukee lightly without Giannis.

It's an even sillier concept on the part of @trojanfan12 and @fightinfunbags to say the Pacers style doesn't translate to the postseason. It was one game and we played like shit...

Tyrese Haliburton took all of seven shots. That right there should tell you he wasn't as aggressive as he could and should be.

They were exactly right. Their style doesn't translate because they don't play defense. Even you have to know that's how you win in the playoffs, you have to at least be better than average there. The style of play is more physical, the refs call less stuff, no one can outscore their way to a title without getting stops

Pacers may lose the series but it won't be because they dropped game 1 on the road. It will likely be because of something that happened in one of their home games

Depends how it looks though, you get some information about how the Bucks look without Giannis. I am not a game 1 hot take guy but I was curious to see how the Bucks would look and they looked great. And Indy still doesn't play defense. I picked the Bucks to win this and I feel pretty good about it

They will lose the series when they lose 4 of 7. 1 down 3 to go. There will be all sorts of reasons why but the main one is they don't defend well enough to win in the playoffs.

Bucks scored 109 which is nothing in today's NBA.

The Bucks should look fine without GIannis in this series. They have Dame who is still great then Middleton, Lopez, and Bobby are good pieces as well.
