I have been to about 40 of the 50 states but Washington is one I have not been too but I would be willing to wager Texas is a much better place to live. The weather is better, the food is better, the people are wonderful, you and the fam should give it some thought, I do understand not wanting to move away from family and everything you know but i've been here almost 14 years now and although I have thought about moving away I just don't see it happening. I am a Texan now, my family and friends in Minnesota hate when I say that!

Well, I won't defend WA. I grew up here, have lived here my whole life (except 2 years in NC) and as I get older, it becomes more evident that the state is not friendly to people in my demographic. I wouldn't mind moving somewhere else - but I would have to drag my wife kicking and screaming the entire way....

I can't say that I understand, but I do have a little experience in that department. My wife and daughter suffer from severe depression and have been admitted to in patient places multiple times (both of them went for a week this past month). It is very scary and sucks for someone like me who is just not wired that way. I want to help, but I know there is nothing I can do to convince them that some of the things that they feel (worthlessness, nobody cares about them, etc) are just not true.

Thank you. I am sure this is harder on my wife than it is on me - so I take my hat off to you as well, as living with someone with depression is very difficult. I have the greatest of respect for those who choose to stay by their loved one's side throughout the trials that arise from mental issues (my wife did, my ex-fiance did not).

Can't imagine what you have to deal with on a daily basis. Glad Hoop can make things a little better in a way for you. Love how this site is like Cheers people can forget about their problems while they are here. Here is to you stoke . Keep drafting like you do and one day it will work. It's like playing the same lottery numbers every time. You know what will happen the time you change the numbers then they call your old numbers.

Thanks Ritz, SportsHoopla (and cbs before it) is a great escape. One of my biggest issues is agoraphobia, so web interaction gives me human interaction without human contact.
