I'm pretty sure Division II plays a 24 team playoff, Division III plays a 32 team playoff, and FCS plays a 20 team playoff.

Here is the 2011 Division II playoff bracket. Keep in mind that top-seeded teams get a bye for the first round.

How do you figure A&M beating Oregon? they have no where near the defense Stanford does.

No, but Alabama does, and how well did they stop A&M?

Texas A&M has scored 40+ on everyone they've played this year.
Oregon's offense has weaknesses that have been exploited.

Sorry bro, but Mariota is not Johnny Manziel. He is a great QB, but JFF's ability to create something out of nothing is beyond anything we've seen in college football.

I'm in favor of 8 teams. Any more and the regular season loses its importance.

Champions of the 5 major conferences + 3 at-large. Rules about including 1 non-AQ team/ND remain similar to what they are now, though perhaps a little stricter.

Example:

1 Alabama
8 Fresno St. (or whichever non-AQ fulfills the criteria)

5 Stanford
4 Baylor
-
3 OSUe
6 Oregon

7 Auburn
2 FSU

As of now, Clemson would be the next team in, and hoping that the non-AQ teams lose.
