Well this looks to be all moot now anyway.................lol. I'm working a deal to send either Martin or Charles to a guy for his 5th rounder.......................sounds like shitty value, but in this league I'm making out like a bandit. He really wants Charles, but he dropped him last year after he got hurt and I picked him up.............I told him I'd understand and I wasn't trying to rub his nose in shit..........................

I don't know about @canesandfinsfanatic but I wouldn't say bandit. 5th round is bench territory. So you will improve your bench by doing this, but you also take your chances away from getting a better player in the first drafting round as you are taking away a clear draft pick by someone ahead of you.

Man, how you figure bench territory, especially when I was just gonna have to throw him back into the pile anyway?? Plus, I have to start 6 RB/WR.................

Huh?? Didn't you say 2 WR 2 RB 1 flex?? That would be 5. Then QB and TE. That is 7 starters

Did I misunderstand?? 5th round= 3rd drafting round?? Or 5th drafting round??

I for some reason assumed 5th drafting round.

Id keep Marshall and Martin. Mostly because Charles feels just a touch risky to me. That said hes got some killer upside.

12 team we start 1QB 2RB 2WR 2Flex 1TE 1K and 1D. 8 Bench spots. I can keep these guise as long as I want. Traded my 5th for Rawls last year the day before he got hurt.

And yeah, it's the 3rd drafting round

We did the Martin deal, now he wants Charles for a 4th...............I have to ponder this for a while. I keep Rawls and Marshall and get 4 picks in the first 3 drafting rounds.............gonna have to study. 6 hours and 20 minutes to go! Or I only keep 1 and draft in the supplementary round..................damn

Well, I haven't commented but now that you've dealt Martin, I feel that was wise.
Martin is a guy with 2 good years sandwiched between 2 bad years. I don't like him.
This is a keeper league, right? Deal Charles.
He does have great upside but each year is a risk for him and he's already starting 2016 in a bad way.

The only way you stop yourself from dealing away Charles is if you consider what might be left when it swings around to you in the draft. If all 12 teams keep 2 guys, it's almost like you're drafting from rounds 3-5 in the first 3 rounds. Meaning that the player pool is already shallow.

That's what I was pondering, and dealing Charles would be a baaaad move..........

You should see the trade my buddy in this league just made.............smh. He traded the number one pick for the number 6 pick and a 4th rounder.............basically, he just traded EE in a keeper for a 4th.............dumbass

Rawls also cleaned his competition to back up Lynch. Then looked great before an ankle injury. Then they drafted two RB.... because they lost Lynch and Freddie. If you're scared of his ankle getting re-injured, can't argue with that.

Only keeping two, I'm keeping the highest upside short term and long term (unless I have elite players). To me, that's Charles and Rawls. Martin is safer, but I don't want safe.
I agree
