I'm going to wait until I finally decide who I pick to win. Right now, I have GT upsetting VT, but I'm not sure if I am going to go with that. I just realized I forgot to make this public.

I don't know how to call this game.

But GT has played pretty well at home.... and it was nice to see them play well on defense last week. I guess I'll go with GT in a close one....

Think it will be close regardless. Surprisingly, I saw a time of possession stat that had VT around 6th in the country and GT around 18th. That will be vital for VT's chances as the D will need the opportunity to rest. However, the main thing for VT to win will be starting fast unlike the majority of the games this year. Can not have turnovers and penalties that kill drives.

Field position will be just as important and with the punting game at VT, this will probably be the downfall.

I'm going to be a homer and say that the offense finally gets started quickly and the defense does enough to keep a late comeback by GT stalled.

True. With our history of special teams, this year has been a big WTF. Really makes me appreciate the preceding years and how good our kicking game has been.

I guess it will be the team with the least amount of shanks that comes out ahead.

Seems strange to me that VT is making so many changes on defense.

I don't know what the situation is with your defense right now, but that feels like some kind of a desperation move... which is confusing to me. Moving guys around right before facing GT seems like it could be a disaster.

Have quite a few guys banged up on the DL and LB core which already had depth issues. Trying to put a band-aid on the injuries and trying to get some of the quicker guys in there that do a little better adjusting to the option.

I really have no idea how this game is going to turn out. Too many question marks on our side to feel any bit confident. And GT has been all over the place with consistency in the last month as well.

Oh well, time for the de-facto Coastal Championship.
