Yeah, Tillman looked like shit tonight. I think TOR had 11 hits through 4-5 innings.

I don't mind it at all. Let them get the losing out of their systems now while the games are meaningless and have the main guys rested for when the ALDS starts. The pitching staff has always been feast or famine so I hope that Tillman's start was just a bad start and will be ready for next week, likely against Detroit.

Its doesnt work that way ....no hitting before the postseason will carry over. You want hot hitting and great pitching, this is not good at all

When you have 3-4 days off between games, it's not going to matter how hot or cold your pitching is, that's plenty of time to make adjustments or to cool off quite a bit. So it's not necessarily going to carry over at all. Plus, this team has been prone to having streaks when they hardly score anything, so this is nothing new either.

The worrisome part to me going into October is the hitting of Joseph and Schoop and the defense at third.
