Sets up the force play at 3B and 2B (could help get an out with a ball in the hole), not much history between Pagan and Wright (Pagan has one hit in three AB), but Scutaro was only hitting .105 against Wright in nineteen AB. Could have been that, or simply a nod to a RHB/RHP match-up.

I think he was waiting to see how cleanly the LF fielded the ball. Any bobble and he was sending Scutaro.

Zeets on his way to his 15th win of the season. Solid, solid outing. Six innings, one run, only one walk. Bochy better NOT send him out in the 7th, though!

Zeets has not won more than 10 games in a season with the Giants. He last won as many as 16 in 2006, his last year with the A'ssssssssssss.

It is funny. His numbers from last year are almost exactly his numbers this year, extrapolated out. WHIP = 1.40 each season. Homers are a little less this year. But his ERA is 4.10 compared to 5.87 last season.

Nice turn around by Zeets!
