#1 seeds or the field?

This season, would you take the #1 seeds or the field to win the championship?

I know we don't know for sure who those seeds will be, but Zona, Florida, WSU are looking very secure as 1 seeds and Duke and Kansas seem to have an edge over the rest in the race for the 4th.

6 of the last 7 champions were 1 seeds.
16 of the last 22 champions were 1 seeds.

On the other hand, only 4 of the last 20 championship games featured two #1 seeds.

Field by a TON. There are questions about all the 1 seeds. This is the first year in awhile where I dont see 1 single team that I can definitively say is the best team in the country IF they play their A game. Florida has offensive questions IMO, Arizona does too, Wickita has schedule questions and the other 1 seed be it Wisconsin/Kansas/ACC winner etc all have serious questions as well. Even last year most of us knew Louisville was the best team in the country if they played their A game. I dont think we can say that about anyone this year.

This is tough. I really love Florida and the way Zona has played as late. I'd love to see the brackets released before answering, but I guess if I had to vote now I'd take the 1 seeds over the field.

I'll take the field as well, a lot of scary 2,3,4 seeds for sure. I can tell this years bracket pools will be crazy, it's basically whose going to have the best shitty bracket.

There have been so many big upsets and no dominating team really this year, except WSU in their shitty conference.

I think this March Madness will be a great one, many upsets, and a team out of the blue that gets hot will win.

It's like you all ignore the "6 of 7 and 16 of 22" stat. Of COURSE 2 or even 3 of the 1 seeds are likely to not even make the FF. But usually the ones that do finish off the "Cinderella" teams that are just happy to have made it to the final four.

Picking a #1 seed is a pretty safe bet, but there are too many teams that are too late for a 1 seed that seem to be playing just as well if not better than some of them.
