Adrian Gonzales is clearly done. They need a run producer in the middle of their lineup. Maybe Bellinger will ultimately prove to be that guy but I think they need a larger sample set from him before the mortgage their future on him (i.e., see Judge, Aaron, the Fraudkees version of Sam Horn).

passed Boston for sole possession of 2nd place in the AL....at least they would come to Cleveland if that series started tomorrow. Thats pretty good considering where the Tribe was a few weeks back.

I gotta say- to make up ground like that and to bury the Royals while missing 40% of your starting rotation and Andrew Miller....Chiz and Kipnis on the DL quite a bit....is pretty good.

Francona really earns his paycheck ill tell ya. Lets hope they can keep their foot on the gas and finish this out and get everyone healthy and ready for October....
