So we bought a tv at an estate sale, I hooked it up to my verizon box and its fuzzy as crap.

But if you hit "menu" on the verizon fios remote, the "guide" comes up crystal clear, its ONLY the TV shows that come up crappy.........

I keep trying to fidget with the settings on teh fios box, and tv and just am making it worse..........

its a sony bravia 32in flatscreen......

any ideas or suggestions

nah, it clicked over now i dunno why but it works

Obviously you didn't pay much for it, but when stuff like that happens to electronics, from my experience it will probably happen again...something is loose inside, could've been jarred when it was transported, etc. or it may be on it's way out.

ya i just bought a new one

I figured you might be soon.

The guy I worked with to buy my latest TV purchase said...these new flat panels...the top brands have a 8-12 shelf life at peak performance for the average user, the cheaper brands could last just as long, but his estimate is 5 to 8 yrs....not really huge difference when you consider the price difference.

Nice!

I didn't get a blk friday deal, but a close out on a 65" 4k Sony...I'm still seeing it around...$200 more than I paid. I still like my plasma, but it's heavy even for a flat screen, and runs hotter..

Yeah true...the picture on the plasma (about 6 yrs old now) is probably more accurate though. I still watch that one more often largely because that's where my power recliner is...lol

Probably some truth in that! lol

It's got the memory foam cushions...sooo comfy!

The 4k tv is brighter so some colors just look too intense....who knows maybe that is the more accurate color!
