That's what I was saying above.

In theory, he should disappear just like the other one did (again, notice the FADE and not the zooming out).

Gut feeling is the CW just did a big, big mistake and will tick off a serious amount of viewers by doing a reset.

This move should, technically, make the last 2 years irrelevant.

Now my question is: does barry become the only one that remembers the old timeline?

and vibe... that is his power... he sees things... he will "see" barry as the flash, and befriend him with a suspicion of something fishy... Killer frost will probably be the first villain, and Cisco will try to save her... Then comes the League of tomorrow to fix everything??

That makes about as much sense as anything the CW has done in the last year....outside of acquiring SuperGirl.

Which is the best thing they've done.

Well killing your past self never seemed to affect the person who went back in time. I would think that Barry would maintain his memories and strength but when he returns to the future everything around him will be completely different.

When Barry went back in time and and changed the future before he still remembered everything from the erased timeline.

I gotta say. Him looking like a crazy buffoon to iris, joe and the team will be interesting.

I wonder what this does for Wallys story

Yeah, but I don't think they will run with it for too long. They will go full circle and he will go back in time again and we'll see the scene we saw originally where Barry stops himself from saving his Mother. This is just something for people to wrack their brains over during the offseason.

It is kind of weird how they completely nullified Barry's whole journey into the speed force, he had accepted his Mother's death and realized that she would have sacrificed herself in order for Barry to become the Flash and save the people of e1 as well as the entire multiverse. In the season finale Barry's like fuck all that shit I'm back to being whiny and bitter about it.

Yeah. I agree. That's how they set it back. He stops himself, now twice, on the same trip back.

My guess is he goes back because they're about to lose to something, and this is how he sets it right.

What? How all the sudden did Arrow make Darhk lose his powers? Because the people of the city were rising up with him? Whaaa?

They stopped working on HIM because all those people stood up him.

Believed in him.

Notice how he still had the power to kill Cooper (the hacker) even after his powers stopped working on Ollie.

Also, this ending of Arrow season 4 is EXACTLY why they should've killed off Felicity instead of Laurel.

Hell anyone besides Laurel would've made sense.

But felicity in particular. Since Curtis is a natural replacement.

And Curtis is a full cast member next year...

Yeah, it wasn't super clear but that seems a bit silly. In retrospect, I guess it isn't any sillier than an idol that makes you stronger when you kill people. In fact, I guess they already explained this some in that episode with casino where they meet the magic girl (can't recall what they called her). Maybe everyone believing him allowed him to channel out all the darkness, kinda of like how Felicity helped him the first time he was able to do it when Darhk was weaker.

What made me cringe was him jumping up on a car in the middle of a riot and shouting and VIOLA, a bunch of scared out of their minds looters decide, 'Hey that young white dude wants to make a speech, listen everybody!'

Heh.

There was a number of cringe-worth speechifying going on in that episode though.

How about when Olly and Dahrk are fighting, then the crowds show up, so Darhk says "I didn't come alone either" and all the ghosts run out of the shadows. Every time I see something like this I image what the minions are doing up to that moment.

<crouching in a corner>
"Bob, the boss is getting his ass beat, should we go help?"
"No, John. We should wait here in the shadows. When we run out, it will be REALLY dramatic."
"OK, but I am getting a hell of a cramp."

Had to play the race card there.

I didn't think the speech was that bad. But I am a bit of an idealist.

This is exactly how I interpreted it.

But I agree they should've made it more clear.

It wasn't the speech itself - hokey yes, but who cares, it's a comic book show. But that just wouldn't happen in a real riot. No-one would hear him.

And c'mon dude. The 'race' card? Jeebus.

I agree. It did seem a bit odd.

Now if the green arrow dropped onto a car, I think people would've noticed.

Well Oliver did get 48% of a write in vote for Mayor so about half the people in the town really respect him. I saw it more as these people know who Oliver is and they like him so they are more inclined to listen to him rather than just listening to a random guy talk.
