It's a stupid click bait article. It's not realistic that Kelly would jump to USC. Hell a lot of those names are not realistic
Thats what I was thinking... I was like no way Brian Kelly could go to USC

I'm surprised this list doesn't have like a Jack Del Rio?

Based on the reason given in this article, it makes sense. Evidently according to this article, there are practicalily no academic difficulties for the players at SC. We all know that Kelly has been upset with the fact that his star players can be lost for a year due to academic problems. I think he might enjoy coaching at a place where that wasn't an issue.

Wonder what that Raider buyout is and whether that's an impediment.
Not sure? I don't see either Kelly leaving current job to go to USC. Del Rio imo would be a great fit for USC. I think he was mentioned in the past after Caroll left for the NFL?

Anyone remember back when the Eagles wanted Brian Kelly... if Chip leaves do you think the Eagles will offer Kelly another deal?

Considering 9-4 and 8-5 since his National Championship embarrassment, no.

A couple of things here. Eagles owner Jeffrie Lurie wamted Chip as 1st choice, but if Chip wasn't going to take the job, they wanted to at least interview Brian. Not sure if he did or not. Secondly, I know the rumor mill ias out in full force in regard to Chip leaving Philly. I know he squashed that question at his press conference after the Saints game. Of course he has to say that he has no desire to leave. Thay being said, why would he give up his gig as a GM and HC in the NFL? He has the owner's word as far as job security goes. Lurie does not fire his coaches. Andy Reid and Lurie had a mutual agreement that it was best for a change. Andy knew it was his time to go.
I just don't see Chip leaving anytime soon. He dislikes recruiting, his ego won't allow him to just give up and take the easy way out. Just my .02!

I just realized you're a Mets fan

I may not like you in a few days
We both gotta get there first. I like our chances esp. after tonight's performance.

I think that Chip Kelly's performance at Philadelphia has decreased the nfl's interest in Brian Kelly. Had Chip shown great success, Brian would have been in demand. I think the fact that Chip hasn't had a lot of success has ruined it for Brian.

I know USC probably doesn't want to add old assistant coaches at this point but I think Ken Norton Jr. would be a good fit. Defense has been a problem there old USC

No chance in hell. This was one of the stupidest Articles I ever saw. 1st of all ND wouldn't let Kelly out of his contract to coach there.

Don't give Haden any SMART ideas! Defensive Line Coach wouldn't be so hard to lure away... I'm all for Haden screwing it up at least once more.

The only job Haden was suited for in USC's Athletic department was working as a game day announcer and he isn't even great at that.

If Kelly did leave for USC then Fitzgerald or Sweeney would be the guys I call if I were Notre Dame.
