Its no secret that Kevin has struggled this series, so there's no point in pretending otherwise. Think those comments were about LeBron trying to incite a good performance out of Love tomorrow, not about directing blame.

With Love's hand and now head injury, though, not sure words are what he needs to get on track. Probably worth a try, though.

Yes, getting your teammates to feel good about their involvement, is best done out in public and especially through the media. Of course this isn't meant for a plane ride back to Cleveland or during practice in a face to face conversation.

I mean those are 2 different things and can be helpful or damaging in different ways depending on the personalities of the people involved.

I guess I am from the school of keep your team stuff in the locker room. Not this go out and tell the public and use the media to rile up your teammates. Do that in practice, in the locker room have your heart to heart talks.

think part of this is that the PAcers are ap retty solid team--- i think they wouldve beat a few teams in the playoffs including Miami, Washington, Portland, San Antonio, maybe even Boston and Milwaukee.

Please tell me how the benefits anyone on the team? How does having your best player and the so called leader of the team going to the media and calling you out, or trying to give you motivation, whatever is beneficial to Love? I am curious the thought process on how this is a good idea.

If I am crapping the bed or need to play better 1.) I probably already know this and 2.) I'd want me team captain and leader telling me this in person, on the practice court, or hell in this day and age in a text, or since it's LeBron tell this to Love over a conversation at the barber shop, and not through a media source.
