Agree and would likely pass on Pentecost. I think we go after CF like Dyson maybe 2 year contract to bridge until Leody makes it up. Love to get Brinson back. Of course Buxton is my dream CF

Still the St Loiuis hacking, the Singleton power play to get him to sign MLB contract, total dump of payroll to be absolutely no competitive, the Aiken fiasco all come immediately to mind. I may be naive but Astro FO dealings are beyond the norm

And what about the Houston newspaper headline downing Rangers and Ken Giles garbage words, the inferiority complex of many of the fan base there.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

I know there are a whole lot of things to be more thankful for than anything sports related, but since this is a Rangers discussion site I want to say that I am thankful that we have a baseball team here in the area. I remember when that wasn't the case and it is a blessing for a baseball fan to have a local team. I am also thankful for all of the great memories that I have of this team. From listening to Dick Risenhoover give the radio play by play back in the early 70s to Beltre's 3000th hit there have been hundreds of very fond memories for me. Even thinking about Game 6 reminds me of how blessed we were as fans that year to witness such a great team. From the days of Burroughs, Toby, Sunny, Grover and Fergie to guys like Wills, Beniquez, Oliver, Blyleven, Franco, Juando, Sierra, and Witt to guys like Palmeiro, Pudge, Clark, Matlack and Rogers to guys like Hamilton, Young, Beltre, Napoli, Cruz, Kinsler, Lee, Colby, Neftali, and Derek to the present guys we have had more than our share of very good to great players to cheer for. For that I am very thankful.
