Game Night

I worry that they are not going to trade Kelce ever. But frankly now that we got rid of Barbre I think trading him makes less sense because our interior ol depth looks questionable. Chance Warmack doesn't look very good. He would have been the guy ideally to claim the LG spot if we moved Seumalo to center, but he looks unimpressive.

Seems like they are running a vanilla offense to get the reps in.
Maybe they don't want to tip their hand when they start the season?

I'm not inclined to care all that much about playcalling in preseason.

Agreed. Outside of Blount (and I'm not even 100% sure of that), he's the best RB on the team.

I don't think he'll make the team.

I worry Pumphrey makes the team just because he was a draft pick, but based on performance he should not make the team. He looks like a high school kid out there, and hasn't really shown any special elusiveness or speed.

This. A thousand times this.

Some of you guys in preseason....come on. Preseason is not knocking the kinks out anymore. They train all year. Preseason is now where you get a look at a lot of guys at game speed (because game speed is really not allowed in practice anymore).

If you think a game plan set to view a large number of players at game speed equals a regular season game plan just do yourself a favor and tune out until regular season.

Limited reps in pre-season games and vanilla plays on Offense. If Pumphrey doesn't make the team it will be due to what they see (or don't see) out of him at the practices; not due to a couple of scattered carries in these games.

The FO has done a LOT of things right that actually improve the team. Alshon was huge. Hollins pick is looking like one of our best WR draft picks in awhile. Darby, an absolute steal. love this guy! I'm "SOOOO" glad we don't have McCoy and he is gone. Might have been one of the ONLY things Chip got right. Kelce will be the achilles heel of this OL, and the FO still doesn't see it!!! Been saying that for years now, and it was "SOOO" obvious last year, that everyone thought he was gone. People have made ecuses all off-season: it's going to be a draft trade; or after june cuts; or blah blah. NO. The FO is blind to the need to upgrade C! They are doing a "LOT" of things right, but they are missing the boat on this one, and it's going to affect the efficience of the running game and Wentz development. The best thing in the world is for him to keep sucking enough for the FO to finally see it.

Some good points, but not on shady. He is an awesome RB, and we need to give him his due. Out all time best RB.
I agree on Kelce, and I think he'll be replaced by Seumalo soon.

WEstbrook was better in my opinion, and is the reason McCoy developed beyond that player that would fall down if someone even touched his foot. how soon we forget.

I thought the Oline sucked. Big V could not get away from penalties.
