Michigan would have won in 1997.

Already been discussed, I am pretty sure I provided more than enough evidence on which team was #1.

1. Sure Ap voted Michigan #1, but only voted three of their opponents in the final top 25
2. Nebraska was #2, yet five of their opponents finished in the Top 25
3. All of Michigan's opponents that went to a bowl game, lost
4. Two of Nebraska's opponents that went to a bowl game won their bowl game, one of them was over a B1G team Washington destroyed Michigan State
5. Michigan only beat one team ranked in the final top 10, barely, and with some shenanigans that made one second tick off the clock on the final play that should not have happened
6. Nebraska beat two teams ranked in the final top 10, both by very large margins
7. Just about everyone of Michigan's opponents that went to a bowl game lost by a large margin, average loss was by 20 points.
8. OK, Michigan had the number 1 defense, yet in the bowl games, defenses rated in the 40s held the same michigan opponent to fewer yards and fewer points
9. Every good running back Michigan faced ran all over Michigan. Nebraska lead the nation in rushing

Who was the best team in 1997/Nebraska or Michigan/Discuss

I'm going to get a manicure later. Not sure if I should go with a super bright pink, a pale pink or a red. My toes are super bright pink, but I think that decision was a bit premature. I've only worn sandals once in the two weeks they've been done. The weather is heating up this week so I'm tempted to stick with the same color, but that's kind of boring. I'm really liking this chromatic stuff that I've been seeing on instagram. I wish I would've seen this one in particular that was a mix of pastel chromatic and glitter nails. Super cute! They looked like the cutest easter egg colors ever!

Does that help?
Im in serious need of a mani pedi.. it's been over a month..

y'all just don't understand how good Tanner Lee and the RileDog offense will be this here year, and how good low-hanging Bobby D's 3-4 D is.

15-0 is the only reasonable outcome for Nebraska.

This. I think Riley's offense is better suited for QBs other than Armstrong types. JMO.

I think most offense's are better suited for QBs other than Armstrong types.
It's like Landry Jones at Oklahoma. 4 year starter, good solid QB, set all sorts of records, but just wasn't going to get you to the promised land.

#amirite or what

I think comparing Armstrong to Landry Jones might be giving Armstrong a little too much credit.

Yeah
Didn't mean for it to come off that way.
I always thought Armstrong held you guys way back. But that's what Riley had to work with and went with it.
If you have even a halfway good QB that doesn't get you into trouble, you should be better.
