Its a one year deal, and Doctson is still a question mark. So unless we bring in another WR not coming back from an injury shortened season, you cant rule out taking a WR. Maybe not in the 1st or 2nd round, but IM thinking we are still either going to sign another WR, or draft one. Maybe both.

I've never disputed Bruce's capologist credentials or ability to crunch the numbers ...

That Pryor deal is a steal. 6M plus incentives is a great, cheap test drive for a guy with a lot of upside. Sure, he could walk away in 2018, but this is a good deal for the Skins!

I thought Schafer is the capoligist. To get this guy from the Browns was huge. BA deserves a lot of credit for this. You notice skinsdad,shark, and socal refuse to acknowledge this.

True but reality is we have 1 elite receiving option in reed, another very good te in Davis, a 1st round "rookie", Pryor, and Crowder. That may be less than last year but it's still damn impressive. As you've said a million times that defense needs to improve for us to compete. Spending a 1st or 2nd on a wr doesn't get that done. Not to mention we could be set at wr for a while with these guys.

If he proves his worth we have the cap room to pay him more next year. Its a huge move. Maybe the best move in FA so far.

Oh, I definitely think this is our best move. I am convinced a bit more of what he is I guess. I don't need a prove it deal with him. I would rather sign him long term at another mil or 2 per season and five him a bit more signing bonus.
