Eh, Patterson's team was full of freshmen and sophs in '15 and went 11-2. In fact, I think he had the 3rd youngest team in the country that year behind Strong and Butch Jones. Grant it, he has a quality coaching staff. Strong's was straight up made of a massive pile of shit assistants who wouldn't have jobs today if it wasn't for Charlie bringing them down to USF with him.

I am calling BS. 7 of the top 12 leaders in tackles were Juniors or Seniors. Boykin was a Senior. Senior Aaron Green ran for over 1000 yards. Senior Josh Doctson has 1300 recieving yards. Senior Listenbee had 600.

I think the job was too big for Strong, he seemed to forget how to coach and develop. You can't use the young card in a year when the big 12 was down, and most of your sophmores had massive playing time.
