Baylor, TCU, & KSU are possible. Even if Texas sweeps those 3, I don't see Texas beating either USC, OU, or Oklahoma State.

You forgot WV, who I expect to have a rebuilding year. (There is a reason their coach was looking around). You gave Texas 5 wins. Only a USC win would shock me. Meand splitting the rest would get you to 8. That seems like a reasonable expectation. 9 would be a surprise.

I did miss WVU.

That still means winning 3 out 6 against Oak State, TCU, OU, WVU, KSU, & Baylor to get to 8 wins. I can see two possible. Three I don't know about that happening, but its possible. Herman has his work cut out for him.

I think 8 would be fair. Texas is too good of a college to be down for too long. They will right the ship, but it won't happen in one season. Nine would be an excellent season.
