While I would of course love to see USC suck dick this year. Especially because their fanbase and the media go into full hysteria mode over even single losses.
But I don't see that happening. USC has the greatest built in recruiting advantage of any NCAA team and have been landing top10 classes since 2014. The rest of the PAC doesn't have it as easy.
Any lingering damage from the sanctions is over. They're at full strength now from a depth perspective and roster is filled with 4 and 5 star talent. I'd love to see them drop some games this year, but I don't see that happening. The odds are always stacked in their favor with the recruiting classes they pull in and the impact is thus minimized any year they lose a bunch of players to the draft.
For the PAC, I'm going to say Colorado takes a step back this year. The loss of their DC who the Ducks threw a kings ransom at to join them, will be felt bigtime. He was a big reason for their rise the past two years.
Wisconsin overachieved last year. I see them taking a step back in 2017 as well.
