I didn't cherry pick anything. I said over his 6 year tenure they didn't average out to a top 50 offense in the country. Which is a fact. I was just using those years because he left them in a worse position than when he took over.
Right. What a horrible job he did, taking Indiana, one of the worst programs in FBS history, and turning them into one of the top offenses in the B1G (especially passing offense) and leading them to more success than they've experienced in over two decades. But yeah, he didn't do shit.

Their avg. rank in efficiency was 55th in the country over his 6 years. Their average rank in efficiency the prior 6 years was 72nd. There was slight improvement. If you think that difference is night and day, so be it, and that's fine, I don't. This whole thing got going because I said they were atrocious last year on offense, which, I don't understand how you don't think they were?

Again, it's Indiana. You're trying to use one bad season to represent his entire 6 year stay. Clearly last year was a bad year, and it seemed largely due to some internal issues, not on the field issues. They were 83rd last year, which dropped them to an average of 55th, so before last year they were even higher. And again, going back to my original point, he is going to enormously improve the passing game, which is why I'm so excited to have him. If he was able to lead a talent-deficient team like Indiana to becoming arguably the best passing offense over the last 6 years in the conference, imagine what he can do with the caliber of players OSU brings in.

I picked Texas because so many people think the new coach is going to do wonders in his first year on the job. I don't think they will post back-to-back losses to Kansas, but I don't think Herman is going to have a knock-your-socks-off kind of debut, either. But I could be wrong.

Ballsy. They are 10 -14 the last 2 years. To fall on their face would require 5 or less wins

If you beat Kansas I think you can call it a successful season.

Bama clearly was better than us in 2014, but Mizzou did close to 21-13 then Bama just crushed us in 2014

Your assessment of 2013 is wrong. Its that simple. That was just a great football game
That game was never in doubt

Kansas may improve more than Texas this year. Still may not be enough to beat the rusty cows, but Kansas appears to be trending in the right direction. Not rapidly, but...

For the Big 12:

IMA say Baylor....they haven't reached bottom dweller status. Really think that it's going to get ugly down in Waco, also to a point. Curious about Tejas as well. They had a crap season last year and even crappier recruiting...will be interesting to see where they go.

Baylor made a good hire to avoid fading to complete irrelevance

But this year is going to be a very rough transition year for them, Rhule is going to have to change the culture there, and that's going to mean a lot of players benched or kicked off the team.
