You joke but an offense like his would be interesting at Bama.

Up tempo teams have a bad rep on defense, but it's a misconception. If your offense is shredding the opposition your defense is on the field a lot and they get gassed. Most of us are forced to focus on turnovers and red zone because we dont have the depth to keep people fresh. Bama has that depth.

It would be interesting to see if they could go fast on offense and try to slow it down on defense

We've been fast and uptempo for years now, and it killed us against Clemson where Clemson was able to run 99 offensive plays in the game, the most in the history of Alabama.

Take fast-paced offenses and 3 and outs and it's a recipe for disaster.

Since most of that was proven false in his lawsuit he won doesn't mean shit, common sense wasn't his greatest attribute but he is still a great coach and would've been perfect for you guys. As long as his assistants could've recruited defensive players you'd have as many titles as you've gotten from Saban.
