..... And we can't forget the Alaska bar scene:
You haven't lived until you've tried muktuk (whale blubber).I hear the Alaska foodie scene is great:
Sounds delicious...not! Do you eat it raw or can you cook fat?You haven't lived until you've tried muktuk (whale blubber).
Lol. Columbus would be the god damned jewel of Alabama, possibly the whole south, if it were there. You guys can have it.
Glad you feel that way now stay west of the Mississippi River please.Lol. Columbus would be the god damned jewel of Alabama, possibly the whole south, if it were there.
I go to Columbus 3-4 times a year since the wife is from there, and while I absolutely love the Zoo, Breweries, and the old German town, it's nowhere near the best city.
If fact, you can't be the best city unless you are on the coast IMO. Charleston is still my #1.
Any time you see these lists it's hard to take them too seriously. Best is so subjective depending on people's preferences. I agree with you on the coast thing if we are talking best cities to visit/vacation. However, I think you can absolutely be considered a top city to live without coastline.
I think almost everyone can agree that we are all pretty damn lucky to live in a country that no matter where you are located in it, you have the opportunity to make a pretty nice life for yourself
..you've never been to Mississippi (outside of Oxford) have you?
What a stupid thread.
Since Columbus has an international airport, we're a real city then?Planes land here all the time on their way to the orient and Russia hence the name 'Anchorage International Airport'.
*** Not a flyover state ***
Love Tunica although I always lose money at that casino. My ex wife was from Arky and we would always go to Memphis just across the river. My fav city would be Charleston, SC. I went to school there way back in the day. Columbus is a wonderful place to live and has much to offer, especially raising a family.Tunica and just for the day. We were staying in Memphis.
