Waiting for the announcement that Scientology is suing her.
After the South Park episode on Scientology, the church went so far as to investigate Matt and Trey, hoping to find information to use against them.

True. Their MO is to intimidate and attack anyone that dares to criticize them...or tell the truth about them. Time magazine, former church leaders, numerous actors, Oscar-winner Paul Haggis, etc. have all talked about how members are punished if they question what the church teaches, if they're not deferential enough to church leaders, and how members are required to cut anyone out of their life that leaves the church. Part of me is surprised the A&E show managed to get on the air."Went so far"? It's basically the standard. They do this to pretty much everyone, even their "friends".
Whenever I wonder whatever happened to Barry Pepper's career, I think of this movie...Exhibit A:
"Tom Cruise! Please come out of the closet!"
"No"
One of the best SP episodes ever
OP isn't a Scientologist?!
Color me surprised
Well hey if she ends Scientology, then the next religion on the chopping block should definitely be Humanism, or the "Religion of Humanity" as Auguste Comte used to call it back in the days of the French Revolution; As opposed to all the un-phony religions?
There was an HBO documentary on Scientology awhile back, seems that the majority of PR about them today is negative, and I doubt they're taking in many converts, just doing everything they can to keep the remaining members from leaving.Back in the 70s, I went to a Scientology presentation at a hotel in San Diego (I was about 16 or 17 at the time). I remember leaving and thinking that this whole idea about getting "clear" was a load of crap and a money making scam. Anyway, they continued to all me for weeks on end asking me to join. My mom finally called the police and the phone company before the calls stopped. Thank God I had enough sense to know what a load of crap that whole thing was.

Reading their statement of faith gives me the chills:

Why is Branch Davidian considered a cult why Christianity is considered a religion? So who gets to decide which belief system gets put on the 'chopping block?'
You?
Why are you qualified?
