Ok, so 3rd best player.

Potentially since most of our secondary has been injured all season. I'd take Mike Daniels over any of your D-line and Perry over any of your LB's. The Clark that we drafted has been a bust as every first round DT/DE has been.

In Peppers case it is not some young guy taking over for him. It is Nick Perry in his 5th year who was developed under Peppers.

wait a minute... develop behind a better player? What is this magic you speak of?

And 5th year? He's getting way too old. Be ready to start over soon at that spot.

The difference is the Packers have drafted linebackers in the last 4 years that are being developed behind Perry being Fackrell, Elliot and D Jones which all get good playing time. You have seen Elliot sack Wilson a few times and pick him off. The positions are not ignored for 4 or 5 years

Daniels is as good as anyone on the Seattle D line

The seattle D line is so good they let a limping QB pick them apart

I take it Daniels didn't play against Was, Ten, Atl or Dal?

Seahawks Open 2016 Season With League-High 24 Undrafted Players On 53-Man Roster

Seahawks Open 2016 Season With League-High 24 Undrafted Players On 53-Man Roster

This goes to show that in the last 4 years they have been not keeping up with these numbers as this talk has been on your team and how it has developed after the core of your defense was gotten back in 2010 to 2012.

If there is a league high 24 with only 7 in the last 4 years they need to pick up the pace to fill in for the lack of drafting defensive players.

I am not going to go and look back on the Packers before 2013. But when comparing the last 4 years it appears that the Packers have done better

Sure the Packers D is better, it's obvious. :rolleyes2:

You make no sense so are you saying it was Daniels only that caused the Packers to kick your ass? The biggest difference was we had starting quality defensive backs playing against Seattle that can cover. The games against WAS, TN, IN, Atl had the #4, 5, and 6 defensive backs playing getting torched. Those teams put up an average of like 38 points a game in those 4 games. It is hard to win when you need to score more than 38 points a game for 4 games in a row.

The Packer offense averages 25.6 points a game and has allowed with the starting corners other than Shields 21.33 points per game or 4.27 points more than they allow. The defense has lately been playing better though than earlier in the season with injured players back and more experience for the 2cnd year players with a points against average when it was proclaimed that the Packers could run the table and in those 3 games have allowed 12 points a game.

Seattle is averaging scoring 21.3 points a game and allowing 16.8 points per game with a difference of 4.5 points per game. So between the 2 teams there is a difference of .23 points in the spread. You must be surprised it is that close for a team that is toast to be about equal with the great Seahawks.

Did I ever say it was better? What I have said it is not as bad as many assume it to be and has younger talent that has been performing quite well late in the season and that if people want to over look them all is good it does not bother me as it didnt last Sunday. Nobody expected that as if you search through all the threads there is no respect for the Packer D

What I just posted was showing moving forward over the next several years there is a big difference on how each of these teams are maintaining and developing their defenses. My opinion is that if Seattle does not find undrafted free agents to develop in the next 2 or 3 years or if that cant figure out how to draft since it seems the better talent that they find is undrafted free agents that the Seattle defense will have a hard time maintaining its current quality. When I see the Packers strategy there is always defensive players being drafted along with undrafted players being signed.

I have said in the past that you front office had a good run with the defense through 2012 but not so much since then. What I have just posted today with the draft history and the undrafted free agents shows a lack of attention to the defense which does not make sense to me because then you would think the offense would be better with the O line and such but that is lacking as well.

Old saying LambeauLegs. He who laughs last laugh best, looking forward to seeing the Packers get eliminated from playoff contention. Wonder which week it'll happen, won't shock me to see them lose to the Bears playing with their third string QB.

So their point differential is virtually a tie while GB has the 15th ranked SOS and Hawks have a 27th ranked SOS.

The only team in the NFC with a better point differential and better SOS in the NFC is Atlanta.

Got a kick out of this one. I mean what the hell why show a trick play when id does nothing for your team and you are up 3 scores. Other teams will game plan for that when it may actually be needed. At least Carol admits nobody else will understand it. He just cant come out and say it was dumb to do

You said it was overpriced and aging.
Seattle get's the desired result in their efforts to build the D.
Does your team get their desired results?
