Did that dumbass actually say michigan was in it's "infant stage" or did you? Half their team was frickin seniors this year while half of ours was freshmen.

He tried to characterize their team as "infant"........... what a joke. as if anyone and everyone should have beaten them. he was laughingly trying to downplay their losses and trying to infer that the close OSU win at MSU was "embarrassing".

You go start a rumor thread about Meyer to the Browns. Nice attempt @ deflection. Stay on topic. Which oddly enough isn't what's going on in this thread right now. And as far as JH returning to the NFL. Not sure when it'll happen but due to his competitive drive I can seen him returning to the next level. Losing that SB to his brother has to burn him up inside. Just not sure if he'd even be interested in the Rams right now since he hasn't accomplished what he wants to accomplish @ the CFB level.

Ya see we agree again. I'm off to start those Urban to Browns rumors now lol

It was an infant team. Zero juniors or seniors recruited by Harbaugh. Meyer has been at tOSU forever. Apples to oranges. We were overrated all year by the media trying to hype our game. Top 10 team at best. Certainty not top 5.

Right but weren't Wormley, Charlton, Godin and Glasgow the starters on D-Line? I know Michigan rotated in players, but every school does that.

Yeah. All 8 guys played a ton though. Winovich and Hurst had 18 TFL and 9 sacks between them. Rashan Gary was the #1 recruit in the country.

The biggest loss on the DL will be Glasgow at DT. Mone is good against the run, but Glasgow was the key to the defense this year on the DL. He ate doubles, pressured the QB and stuffed the run.

How many of the players who were major contributors to this team are juniors or seniors? If your major contributors are upper classmen, it doesn't make it a team in its infant stages.

And 20 NFL teams? :bullshit:

I think around 20 teams would definitely fire their coach if Jim Harbaugh walked into their front office tomorrow and said "I'll be your head coach next year if you'll hire me."

Definitely would not: New England, Kansas City, Oakland, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Denver, Dallas, New York (N), Detroit, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Seattle, Arizona, Miami, and San Francisco.

Very likely would not: Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Houston, Green Bay, Minnesota, New Orleans, Carolina, Tennessee.

I think you're looking at maybe Los Angeles, New York (A), Cleveland, Jacksonville, and maybe Chicago jumping at the opportunity to hire Harbaugh. A couple other teams could join the fold (Washington, Buffalo, Indianapolis, San Diego) if they don't like the direction that their team is headed and think Harbaugh would be a good fit. Buffalo may even be unlikely since my understanding is that Jim Kelly still doesn't like Harbaugh, dating back to their playing days.

Yeah, you are probably right.

Good news for Michigan fans would be Les Miles would most certainly not turn them down this time!

What a bunch of typical bullshit, expected though. So all of the sudden 5 years is "forever"? Meyer's been @ Ohio State 3 years longer than Harbaugh's been in ann arbor. And stop the crying about the current roster. JH took Hoke's recruits & doubled the win total in 1 year. Funny that since Yer Boyz lost the most important game of the season all of the sudden they were overrated all year. The only reason you're saying that nonsense is Ohio State beat meeeechegan yet again.

I think either way Michigan would be fine. I'd rather see Harbaugh stick it out at least another year or two (especially for recruiting reasons), but if he were to leave, I think Michigan is a hot enough program again to get top tier coach. I definitely wouldn't want to see it be Les, but I don't think it would be absolutely the worst thing for the program. Heck, Hoke's guys have been the lead players over the past 2 seasons, and have done a pretty good job!

Harbaugh leaving would set the program back a few years, but if Michigan got a good coach who can recruit well, I think they would recover quickly.

Youngest Urban has had BY FAR. Youngest team in the nation. Harballs had one of themost experienced teams in the nation. Yes, he will be getting his recruits now but dont act like you didnt have some very good, experienced veterans.

Peppers is a scrub and never would see playing time on a team full of Harbaugh recruits.

Best if Miles takes a Head Coaching job in the BIG 12, that way he would have a chance to win a conference title.

What????!!!! I thought they just gave the #1 most overrated coach of all time an extension and raise? I never understood how this guy was able to be a head coach for so long. He was terrible. Not surprised the Rams made this move. They had better start winning or L.A. will lose another franchise. Once the fairweather fans in LA stop showing up I can see the Rams making the move to Vegas.....
