I think it's very unlikely, but it does show that so-called experts are anything but in agreement on what's going to go down tomorrow. Some have acted like a particular point of view up here is just dumb and yet people who do this for a living have come up with the same points of view.

The one this thread was made for is possible, but I'm not sure how likely. UW being left out to me is the least likely outcome, but cannot be ruled entirely out.

Clemson is out first round. It's like the first year with FSU who had no business being there but how do you leave out an undefeated prior year champ? System ain't perfect but will get the 2 most deserving (not 2 best period) in the mix.

If we ditch divisions it will help fine tuning this process.

I'm not sure how good OSU really is - but I am sure they are a far better overall team than PSU and it isn't even close. Resumes matter. Extra losses matter. Penn St dodged the best teams from the west and needed Michigan to choke against Iowa to get in the final. They did not do it on their own. That being said - they did enough to earn that title. Congrats to them. If the committee chooses them over OSU that's fine.
