Huh? Make up your mind already. Just two weeks ago you said this:#1 Alabama vs. #4 Louisville
#2 Ohio State vs. #3 Clemson
Louisville won't be 4. Resume isn't as good as Michigan. If they're ahead of Clemson OR Michigan then the committee isn't doing their job.#1 Alabama vs. #4 Louisville
#2 Ohio State vs. #3 Clemson
Hope not.#1 Alabama vs. #4 Louisville

The talking heads have suggested that the committee may take tOSU as a non conference champ if the win out. Personally I think that is a bad move. If they are not the best in their conference then how can they be the best in the country. So who is beating Penn State to let Ohio State into the Big Ten Championship game? Will it be Rutgers who has been shut out three times this including to a miserable Michigan State team or will it be that miserable Michigan State team? Or are you suggesting that the committee will take a team that did not win it's conference or it's division over a team that won it's conference and either lost in over time to them or actually did beat them head to head?
I agree unless you are taking two from a conference, but hypothetically if Penn State wins the conference, how can you take Ohio State over PSU with them winning the conference and winning the head to head? The talking heads have suggested that the committee may take tOSU as a non conference champ if the win out. Ohio St will make it without even getting to the B10 title game IF they win out and here's why. Assume BAMA and Clemson win out. That means there are 2 spots left. OSU would own head to head wins over 2 of the other likely conference winners in Wisconsin and Oklahoma PLUS both those teams have 2 losses. The P12 winner right now looks to likely have multiple losses as well. I think an OSU team with 3 Top 10 wins and multiple other wins vs bowl teams plus a good loss would be in. I know the committee values league titles but that's not going to make up for head to head losses and extra losses imo. Where it gets interesting us if WVU wins out, Washington wins out and PSU wins out. Then I could see OSU getting left out but even in that situation you could argue easily that Ohio States resume is better than UW or WVUSo who is beating Penn State to let Ohio State into the Big Ten Championship game? So you think that the committee will say that winning your conference doesn't matter now? They dropped TCU from 3 to 6 because they didn't win their conference the first year of the playoffs. Ohio State went to overtime with Wisconsin so it's not like they were blown out, plus they would have a win over Penn State.Ohio St will make it without even getting to the B10 title game IF they win out and here's why. I think if the number of losses are equal then the conference title is a great way to decide but the committee is going to have a hard time justifying taking Wisconsin or Oklahoma ahead of OSU when both teams have more losses AND OSU beat both of them on the roaday. Ultimately their job is to get the 4 best teams. In 14 the circumstances were different. If OSU had had 2 losses instead of 1 they would not have made the playoffSo you think that the committee will say that winning your conference doesn't matter now? So they are going to leave off the Big10 conference champion for a team that lost their division? Year long avy bet, all of 2017, that Ohio State does not make the playoffs over the Big10 champion. If the Big10 champ goes and OSU does not I win. OSU goes and the Big10 champ is left off you win. Both make it, it is a draw, no winner. If Ohio State loses to MSU or UM bet is null and void.newsflash - OSU doesn't have to go to the CCG to make it in the playoffs. They win out, they'll be in, bank on it.
