Offer comes down at kickoff.
Well, rats.
I need help at WR. Not really what was offered.
Maybe everyone does with all of the injuries?
Your offers were more than fair.
I'm sure I'll be kicking myself come Monday morning. (Or tomorrow.)

We can revisit.... or maybe I'll chuck something else up

....which player of the two offered do you prefer? Or is a package deal your pleasure?

Randall Cobb is fucking killing me. That's the 2nd touchdown he should have which not only is killing me in the league I'm starting him, but also killing Rodgers.

TKO, I know you have an itchy trigger finger, but maybe I still want him?
Can you wait until Monday?

One other thing... if we're talking about changes to the MBBRL.... I'd like to nominate that we add an IR spot for 2017.
totally missed that you snuck this in there Joe..

I"m indifferent on this one. On one hand, I'd love it, on the other, don't' care for the reduction in difficulty..I'd be happy either way.

Each year we say that injuries are at all time high.
This season is crazy.
An IR spot might at least give us some kind of emotional peace of mind?
How many owners have not been bitten?

I'll say this about the IR spot, the good thing is that ESPN will only let you put them on IR if they are declared out for a game and or put on the actual IR. In year's past it hasn't made a difference, because once somebody was put on IR they were done for the year, but now the NFL has kind of screwed us with the IR designated to return shit they have now, so I would be fine with one IR spot.

The only thing I will tell you since I run my league on ESPN and have IR spots is that it can be kind of a pain in the ass as far as transactions are concerned. Take Jeremy Langford for example. Every week instead of declaring him out, the Bears list him as doubtful until Friday and then change his status to out, so you can't technically move him to the IR and pick anybody else up until Friday. The problem with that is once they change his status back to doubtful on Tuesday morning, ESPN won't let you make any waiver or add/drop transactions until you move him out of the IR spot which means you have to drop somebody to put him back on the bench (yes I know that most of us would just drop him, but I'm using him as an example) in order to put in a waiver claim. Then later in the week once he's declared out, you can move him back to IR and pick somebody else up. It's a pain in the ass, but all of us that have done an ESPN league with the IR spot will be used to it.

Could be a fair way to "help" those teams struggling with injuries.

I agree with bandit though. It would only really make sense to use that spot for the Dion Lewis type players, unless it was helping you fill a 1 week roster crunch.

As for the IR spot - for, always have been. With short benches it has been suggested many times and is almost a necessity.

Bandit, you bring up a good point using Langford as an example.
If he's declared out on Friday or even Saturday, at least you can try to pick up someone in the interim.
At least it's something to help an owner depleted by injuries.
Some owners may already be down to the back-up to the back-up as it is.
