Oh...I'm concerned about quite a bit. I'm not saying they will go 3-1. I'm saying they need to go 3-1.

Oh...in that case. Hell, PIT needs 3-1 too, just to stay even! :D

I keep reading that Dixon will eventually be the starter once he gets healthy. My guess is they(Dixon/West) will split carries at first until Dixon takes over?

Beats me. They benched Forsett for some reason and Dixon seems to be the most complete back they have on the roster so we'll see. It won't matter if they make Flacco throw the ball 40+ times a game again.

I give the Texans a C+.

Winning. 3-1. Have a 2-game lead in the division. Alas, not beating anyone of significance and shit the bed horribly when they played a real contender on prime time.

Seattle B-

Needle moving up, but with that O line, the needle could move back down in a hurry. Probably being a bit harsh. Defense has been stellar.

Hard be much less than a B with 1 loss...like you said, OL improvement will be key going forward. Those guys get 6-8 games under their belt as a unit, they should gel the back half of the yr.

D+

It's a passing grade (2-2), but it can't continue qualitiatively. Schedule up until November looks much easier than the first four surprisingly to me. Nobody pulling in the same direction on offense, and the talent isn't matching their point total at all. Puzzling.

Yeah...I might go B, but fair grade. KC is solid imo a playoff caliber team, TN I thought would be better to be honest, but they're not there yet. NE...as you know PIT has been there...you have to write it off.

Just my opinion, but the division is your's. The Ravens are playing for a wildcard.

You can stick a fork in Forsett (post Kubiak). The running game is in the hands of Dixon/West.

Cowboys B+ - After a shaky first game they came back and won 3 straight and a tough one against a divisonal rival. The defense is still shitty but we now get some of the pieces back that will help the passrush. Dak has exceeded expectations and Zeke is playing really well. The second quarter will determine wether this is a contender or pretender with 3 tough games aginst cinci, gb, and philly.

Agree on the grade, Dak...behind that OL I expected Zek to play well as a rookie. At CLE will probably be a win, it won't be easy, but you're right the next 3 you will learn a lot more about them.

And you all have plenty of reason to be happy. Missing your All-Pro QB and TE. Some other pieces missing time and this team just keeps rolling and looking like a top-4 team in the league. So now you get some of those pieces back and I don't think anybody wants to play the Patriots. I honestly think it might take a 14-2 type season to get the #1 seed away from them. I cheered against them in all 4 games but that was mostly because I know any team having to go to Foxboro in the playoffs stands little chance of actually winning. So going 3-1 through that stretch without Brady definitely made a few people and teams go "uh oh".
No problem. Trust me you haven't and likely won't hear me cheering for the Broncos either. No team wants to go play in mike high.

I don't see why though, it's not like West was doing any better than him when he played.

PIT REALLY needs a split with at least with BAL before I'm ready to even think about a DIV title. Hopefully the PHI game woke them up for the rest of the season and not just one game.

That is the competitive attitude of fans. We want our team to do well and probably don't cheer for our team's biggest competition. Right now I don't view anybody in our division as our biggest competition. That might be a bit prideful on my part but really for quite a while the Patriots have been our biggest rival. We play them almost every year and have met quite a few times in the playoffs with the eventual winner being the team that goes to the Super Bowl. What is it now 4 of the past 5 years one of our teams has been the AFC team in the Super Bowl. So yeah for me I would consider it great respect that we don't cheer for each other's team to be successful.

The bye week will help the Chiefs and Charles being 100% should open up the passing game some. Hopefully he hasn't lost a step from the injuries.

Forsett can't run behind this line and was going down at first contact.

3-0 B+

It starts with the rookie QB been playing really well, ( needs to learn how to slide though)
wide outs were a concern dropping balls, even though they have dropped a few it's when the game is on the line they make the catches.

Defense , has been the biggest positive for this team, the front seven are thriving in Schwartz defense, plus the factor they don't have to be on the field 3/4 of the game like when Chipper was there...

The Steelers are looking really freakin' good. I'm not going to put too much stock into that Eagles game.

Seahawks. B+. There will be some people on me about this grade but i beg them to hear me out.

If you go to the Seahawks game thread fron yesterday and see what i said about not thumping my hairy chest yet.

Now to the reasoning. We are notorious for being a slow start team but if you watch the hame from yesterday and you will see(allthough it was the jets) we were clicking on all cylinders. Ya sherman got burned a couple of times but he was covering a manbeast in Brendan Marshall. Rus was hurt but our olinr gave him time to be in that pocket. Run game can use a little work but that is why it's not a A.

Who i was on the money about: New England. I saod they would be 3-1 before Brady gets back. Honestly i thought week one was your L.

Who i was wrong about: Jacksonville. I was one of those people who thought they had a legit shot at either a wildcard or the division. There offense is good(not great but good) and that defense looked fierce.....

However looking for both to show up

I give the Eagles an A+.....Why.....who thought they would be where they are? I don't think a single person expected it.
