:2cents:

- Great game call by Dougie P - he's running some exotic formations that even Gruden says he's never seen before

- The poise that Wentz has is unbelievable; he went into Soldier Field and played like he's been on MNF 20 times already

- We should add Alshon Jeffery in FA after this season - Wentz needs a legit deep threat who can catch, and Jeffery needs a legitimate QB that can throw him the ball

- General observation: time of possession DOES matter in the NFL

- Mills held up better than I thought he would, solid effort for his first start.

I fully expected Dougie P to come in here and run a good offense, however i expected it to look like Andy Reids offense....I really don't think it looks anything like Andys offense.

I actually think it looks a lot like an Andy Reid offense. A lot of short passes for a rookie QB to get into the groove and avoid the pressure, let's him move out of the pocket at times and do something with it. The only difference is AR would try that long ball to open up a game and the other difference, which I'm most impressed by with Doug is the trust to allow Carson to change it up. There were 5 runs for Darren to 2 runs for Ryan in the first half, I have to imagine that was a product of Carson changing up the playcall with what he saw from the defense.

How incredibly stupid was it to kick that thing right in the middle of the field? Why? kick that thing out of bounds!!!!

Based of off the pressure, I think he was more worried about getting the punt off without it getting blocked, rather than placement. Granted, DJ didn't have the best of days.

I also like that on turnovers they go right for the throat, its a shame we are very inconsistent on catches.
Horrible, horrible no PI call on the Agulor deep ball, although he still got his hands on it and should have caught it.
Wentz needs to learn to get down and slide

Oops. Too late. I had the math reversed. The line actually makes sense.

Looks like it is down to either 5 or 5.5, depending on where you look. Not sure I like all the early money coming in on the Eagles. Pittsburgh very much looks like it could be one of the top 3 or 4 teams in the league, though.

Carson has to take care of himself. We have nothing in back of him.

Yep. He plays with reckless disregard. It's both exciting and frightening at the same time.

We probably won't be able to sign Jeffrey. He makes $11M/year, plus he may get franchised.

I can definitely see DJAX coming back next year though.

That is something he needs to work on. I didn't get to see the whole game, mostly the second half. But from what I saw in the second half, his one run at least went out of bounds. Saw some of those other hits when watching all of carson's throws on nfl.com where they would include his run choices. i didn't pay much attention to the downs and distances, but he cut back where there's no need for him to. Hopefully he figures that out and people let him know about it.

Yeah I agree with you on that one - makes a lot of sense for him to come back and we could really use him too.

There was one hit that Danny Trevathan laid on him as he was rolling out of bounds trying to get a couple more yards - he got smacked really good, and it was eerily similar to the hit that RGIII got that has him currently on IR. If he had gone out just a couple of steps earlier he wouldn't have even been touched, needs to learn to avoid those types of hits.

There are definitely too many unnecessary hits and he needs to learn to slide or go out of bounds. But you have to respect his toughness, he is trying for extra yards when he runs.

Its just crazy how young this team is at all the offensive skill positions, minus Sproles.

Is Sproles just in there for blitz pickup? Because he can't make anybody miss anymore.

Watch more Chiefs. Wentz is Alex Smith and this WCO is loaded with spread concepts now.

I wanted Alex Smith here for years for Andy. But this is even better!

That ball needs to be thrown in the endzone too. Wentz shorted it.

Great, great week to meet the Steelers coming off their divisional bang with Bengals. Take the Eagles straight up.

Not at all. RG3 got hit straight up. Wentz was spinning and able to just absorb it. It was a blow he could have avoided but it looked worse than it really was.
