Seriously we are 4 days away from your guys biggest home game in years and the talk is dead.

Nebraska hosted an undefeated 8-0 Michigan State team last year. Nebraska hosted an 11-0 Iowa team last year. Those two teams played for the B1G Championship. Did Oregon play for the PAC 12 Championship last year?

For some reason, I don't go the elementary school level in conversation about a game. I tend to be more adult with it.

Nebraska has also held a ranking higher than #2 at the end of the season.

We treat it like we have been in the end zone before, we know what to do.

Why would Nebraska fans get excited about a mediocre program of impostors from Faggoty land? There are bigger games, with better teams, coming to Lincoln this year. Oregon would be an also ran in the B1G West this year.

That oughta piss him off for a while..... :humble:

so question: i saw this quote from Bray today:
Linebackers coach Trent Bray said it would be a Pac-12 officiating crew on Saturday, so NU is expecting the refs to let a lot of the pre-snap motion infractions go far more often than a Big Ten crew would.
what pre-snap motion infractions would they be committing that wouldn't get called? I just can't think how you would commit an infraction for presnap motion and not have it called.

:clap:, but not really.

i mean these are the only two i'm aware of:

Illegal motion (5 yards) - Only players in the backfield can go into motion. Once in motion they must either only move parallel to the line of scrimmage or be set prior to the snap. They cannot be moving toward the line of scrimmage when the ball is snapped.
Too many men in motion (5 yards) - Two players cannot be in motion at the same time.

So, i'm thinking he means that the Duck WRs have a tendency to move towards the LOS thus giving them a little head start. which i could see that being hard to catch depending on the relationship of the player to the line judge. too many men in motion is pretty obvious, so kinda hard to miss.

I am so tempted to actually open an online betting account so I can bet the over.

I was thinking
if =< 79 bet a volkswagen

if over >= 80 thru >= 89 getting iffy, bet a mini bike

if over >= 90 thru >= 99, bet a golf club like a putter

If >= 100 no way

Yeah the o/u is usually the safer bet, it does seem a tad low but Vegas books aren't setting the lines to lose money, I figure with both teams running a lot there will be less clock to run up the total points

The more I look at it, if we establish the run and it stays effective through the game, we will dominate. We'll dictate the pace of the game.

I can see Newby ripping off huge runs in this one. He's built to torch a defense like this.

Virginia was creating WIDE OPEN holes in the run game. I'm talking drive a mack truck through it wide. Newby would have taken it to the house on them multiple times with the kind of space their RB was given to roam free.

Yes their secondary is god awful, but their run D is as porous as I have seen in a long long time.

eh, at the moment with our young o-line, i don't trust them to make anything easy. They had Wyoming outmatched weight wise and nothing was coming easy against them, so i'm not expecting much against a top 25 team.
