After today's football game basketball can't get here soon enough.

It was a nice win for Wake, but I do agree that basketball can't get here soon enough.

In the mean time, I think i'm going to start posting some recruiting tweets that I come across:

Also, NC State missed out on 4* PF Nate Watson. Watson is headed to Providence. Maryland was also involved.

Top 40 4* wing Chaundee Brown has eliminated Maryland and as a result, he has moved up his visit to Wake to October 1st. Would be a huge pickup for Coach Manning.

ACC schedule has been released. Really hope if/when we expand to 16 teams, that a new scheduling arrangement can be sorted. Maybe a pod system that includes

1: Carolina, Duke, State, Wake
2: Virginia, VT, Clemson, GT
3: FSU, Miami, Louisville, expansion school
4: BC, ND, Pitt, SU

Don't hate on me too much for 2-4, because I just mainly want #1 to happen. Really have no interest in conference games against schools like BC and Louisville, and I bet the feeling is mutual.

Wake plays UNC only once this year, but plays BC twice. Also, would love to get NC State in the season finale again...the way it was for 1,000,000 years before expansion happened.

Another solid Duke OOC schedule includes Marist, Grand Canyon, Kansas, Penn State, Cincinnati/Rhode Island, William & Mary, Appalachian State, Michigan State, Maine, Florida, UNLV, Tennessee State, and Elon.

4* and Top 50 player in the class of 2017, Brandon Randolph, is visiting Syracuse this weekend. UNC and Wake (and maybe Louisville) are also going after Randolph.

Randolph, a 6-foot-6 senior guard at Westtown (Pa.) School, trimmed his list of schools from 12 down to four. His final four included Oregon, Arizona, Wake Forest and Syracuse.

Evan Daniels, recruiting analyst for Scout.com, was the
first to report Randolph's updated list of schools.

In cutting his list down to four schools, Randolph eliminated North Carolina, Louisville, Miami, Alabama, Xavier, Notre Dame, Kansas and Indiana.

SU's still looking for their first commit from the 2017 class. 2/47 sports says Randolph is heading to Wake.

FWIW, Wake is currently trending in Crystal Balls on 247sports for both Randolph and Chaundee Brown.

7 of the last 8 CB's for Randolph have gone to Wake, including six yesterday.

Last 4 CB's for Brown have gone to Wake, including two yesterday. Brown is scheduled to visit Wake on October 1st.

If Wake manages to land both of those guys, I'll pass out.

I'm not sure but guessing.....I would put the NCAA violations and Coach JB's age and rumors of retirement at the top of a recruits hesitation.

yeah thats what I was thinking. I am really hoping for either that game or Clemson but honestly any game at Cameron would be amazing. I've been there before for their banquet but never to see a game

I can't recall a New England fan or a Boston fan or a Duke fan ever walking away from a chance to stir the pot. Now that I see a single fan of all three taking the high road.....No wonder Hammer sold out and ran.
