They were pretty good the entire second half. I do think losing Malik is going to hurt more than we were hoping it would. But I also hope we'll do better against the run when we play teams that aren't as good at running the ball as the Panthers are.

This is where then losing the player we had to replace him just made it all the worse. Walker from all reports was having an outstanding camp and was looking like one of the most improved players on the team. Then a freak accident during a pretty common drill where someone tripped and fell into his leg ended his season. So now we are on our 3rd choice in Crick and a rookie recovering from an ACL tear less than a year ago to replace Malik. So yeah it will be the weak point of our defense. Thankfully they are surrounded by quite a bit of talent to help cover up some of that but I do think our run defense won't be quite as stout this year.

Packers were lucky to escape out of the 100 degrees temp in Jax. Our Run D played well but 3 CB's looked terrible. Offense took an entire Q before waking up. Should've finished the game with a TD but kicked a FG on the 2 yd line. Secondary needs to drastically improve if we're going to have a shot at the title.
