Now I know you're just a hater, with the way you argue. #kid
Your weird little infatuation with lebron still doesn't make him a top 5 player

Call it whatever you like, infatuation, etc. and I'm not even a big lebron fan. I'm just being objective here and clearly you can't because you're blinded by too much hatred and insecurity.Your weird little infatuation with lebron still doesn't make him a top 5 player

So where would you put lebron?
Just in case anybody missed this, the thread was from 2013. There were 2 people who posted their list recently. All the old lists came before LeBron accomplished anything in Cleveland. At that time, he was a fringe top 10 player.
4 league MVP's, 3 titles, 3 Finals MVP's, countless All-NBA teams- and he is only 31 years old.
Before all is said and done LeBron is a lock at #2....right now I dont know how you could possibly keep him out of a top 7.

yah that argument is ridiculous- what is it better to lose in the Conference Finals? lol. This conversation has been played out. Stop bringing it up.
oh yah you can certainly make the case.....3 finals MVPs in this modern era is pretty insaneI think you can make a case for him at 2 right now. Still had a ways to go to be in the conversation with MJ, but he is right there with Magic and Kareem, IMO.
Personally, I think;
Kareem 2
LeBron 3
Magic 4
But those are super close and really interchangeable.

I think the truly amazing thing we will all look back on LeBron's run- is that- knock on wood- is how consistently great he is.
Jordan had years where he had injuries and of course the retirement. Kobe had years in LA where the team was not good at all- the Smush years- and dealt with injuries...
LeBron - knock on wood- rarely ever gets hurt which and he has played on such a high level for such a long time in a way that no one else in the even semi-modern NBA has achieved.
I mean- right now he has gone to 6 straight Finals. Before all is said and done I think that will be AT LEAST 8. He might make the Finals 10+ times in his career. That is truly insane to think about- and to think that he will have been hands down the leader and best player on all those teams.
No one that has come before or since- outside of Bill Russell playing against 12 teams has been this consistently great for this long.
EVERYONE recharges their battery and has an off year here or there or takes time off or gets hurt....
LeBron just keeps chugging along playing 100 game seasons and dominating. Its truly crazy to see.

Anyone who thinks lebron is better than Magic clearly knows nothing about basketball.
If you say so.
I get people will disagree with that. I said I think they are interchangeable.
Ranking him 9-10 is a hell of a lot worse than ranking him ahead of Magic. LeBron is basically the modern version and he is bigger, faster and stronger.
No. If you were around to see him play in the 80s you'd know that no way is he better than Magic and Kareem. He's probably not up to Larry Bird yet.
But I get it, you millennials have probably only seen a handful of stars so lebron has to be up there
Everyone here knows who the knowledgeable poster is between you and I.

And i'm sure that everyone else with their lips attached to lebrons ball-sack will agree with you.
This past season does elevate him higher into the top 10, but not all the way to 3rd. No "extra credit" because it was Cleveland.
You can argue against championships all you want, but the fact is, championships are the tiebreaker that pretty much everyone (including the all time greats themselves) uses. Lebron only has 3 and he has a losing record in the finals. He's the only one anywhere close to the GOAT conversation that does.
And before anyone says Wilt and The Logo have losing records in the finals, they are not in the GOAT conversation.
For me, Lebron sits behind MJ, Kareem and Magic. If he gets another title or 2, then he becomes interchangeable with Kareem and Magic.
MJ is pretty much unreachable for anyone.
