I am happy France lost. If not Germany, surely not France either. It was great seeing a country who never won before take this title. Congratulations Portugal.

FYI: I thought they looked better without Ronaldo. Maybe the pressure of his presence and having him need his touches took the pressure off.

Germany was the better team too. But a handball and defensive / goalie miscue and they lose too. Portugal almost scored on the free kick after the bad handball call. What if that was the winning goal? That is soccer. An inch here or there and France wins. No one will remember that 10 years from now.....except the French lol.

I'm sick of people trying to hate on Portugal. Yeah they had an easy road but who cares? If Spain took care of business and defeated Croatia in the final game of group play then Portugal is playing Spain in the round of 16 rather than Croatia. If Belgium defeat Wales then they're playing Portugal in the semi finals.
