I'd take player A mostly for the stolen bases.

QS kinda gets you there...

kind of, but i actually wanted to compare it to QS... Cause again, i think there is something to a pitcher who wins besides just their offense...

I kind of think it is similar to sac flies for hitters... How they often change their approach and or swing to get the runner in...

I think playing with the lead some pitchers may change their approach, might get a little lazy or whatever... other players seem to step up their game...

Now i have no proof to this... just an observation i have... and why i still like the W/L%...

To a certain extent but I still like to know. I also take home ball parks into the equation and some other aspects. The new metrics are good but they don't cover everything.

I'd like to know total years played, and/or number of starts. Starts/season and IP/GS are important bits for me.

Looks like mixed results of this one...

Player A is Jeff Bagwell
Player B is Miguel Cabrera

I'd take player A mostly for the stolen bases.

Obviously, 202 is a shitload more than 38, but still, I'd like to know CS before I award this on SB. For example, if player A was caught stealing 80-90 times, a case could be made that his team would have been better off had he just stayed put.
