Does anybody know a way to get out of market games in your area. I know there is a streaming feature but someone told me that quality isn't good. Just curious on what you guys think. Thanks.

I cut cable/dish a couple years ago. I work on most Sundays, so the NFL Game Pass (was NFL rewind, shows them all after they happen) works perfectly for me and pricewise I want to say it was around 100 bucks. I stream it on a 120" 1080p projector and with Monday being a day off will usually watch all the weeks games back to back. Quality-wise it is great, but in pre-season last year they went with a new program and it was utter crap for a while.

I've streamed the last couple SB's as well live (through the network), and 2 years ago, no issue, last year for the first 40 minutes or so it was really bad and choppy.

I've got 60+ Mbps internet speed, so that's plenty in the clear, I think it's more about the number of people watching personally but that's a guess.

Anyways, it surely isn't as reliably clear yet as cable or satellite.

I have DirecTV and I always get NFL Sunday Ticket. I tell them I want it, they tell me it's $399 and I tell them I'm switching to Comcast. I get it for $30 a month from August to January.........Roughly $7 a week.

I'm with Rockinkuwait on this. I have NFL Rewind. While you can't watch the games live you can get them fairly quickly after the game is over and they have the ability to do the condensed version of the games by the next day which means you can watch every single game for the week in a single day and still have time to do quite a bit for the day. Throw in you can get the Preseason games live. So if you can stand not watching the games live I would say that is your best bet.

All the "Free" sites out there for the most part are terrible quality, very hit and miss if they work, and can really mess up your computer if you are not careful. I would rather wait the few hours and just try not to see the scores if I can.

Had it one time, way not worth it to me....I have direct tv and there are several games on every sat and sunday, so I watch the ones i want to and switch to the NFL channel during commercials to get all the scores and updates...
Works for me, and quite frankly, I've bought cars for less than the $399 they want just to watch some ball games...
My mama didn't raise no fool !!! :D

Pretty much happy watching my Seahawks on cable ( except cable cost to much) then watching Red Zone for everything else.

I can't imagine living without Sunday Ticket.

I got it as soon as it was available where I live, late 90's?? Earlier? Matters not, as a soon as it was available.

I think last year I paid$120? Over and above my cable bill. 4 easy payments that even the ball and chain couldn't give a fuck about.

And I see all games. If I want. More or less. With m 6 barrelled PVR I see ALL meaningful games as completely as I choose to.

Try and do something significant every month for what you spend on cable....

I'll take cable every day, Comfort of my recroom, X large screen, superb sound.

I work on a puter all day long. I get home I want to hit PLAY.....

Freezes a bit with big games, early on, then typically settles down as they make adjustments to the demand.

Go to the site and see if you qualify for the streaming based on your address. If you don't, then find a friend or family member whose address does qualify. Then change one of your credit cards to that address and order teh service with that card. (I was able to get it because my In-laws live in an HOA that bans dishes.)

I watched all the non national Pats games last season this way.:suds:

thanks. My house doesn't qualify. You still have to pay $200 for the season. I wouldn't spend that at the local sports bar. Plus you have to figure in how many times the Redskins are on locally. I think they have 5 games that are primetime or will be seen in the north east on regular tv. Back to the bar I go. where are you from? Im am from RI.

Sunday Ticket! My anniversary present every year. My husband doesn't even have to leave the house to get it, so it's a win-win for everyone. :)

Baltimore fans always come home with a headache anyways!!!!!

I had game rewind but I have to wait until 4:00 to get the games I want.
Very hard to not see the scores of 1:00 (10:00) games while watching the live games.....
I'll try to do something different this year
